The Last Avatar:Age of Kalki 1
Author - @vishwasmudagal
Publisher - @harpercollinsin
Price - 299(printed price)
Page - 314
Genre - Mythological sci-fi/fantasy
📖
Content - In the not-so-distant future,a rogue extremist group called "The Invisible Hand" led by Commander Zar has been creating havoc throughout the world. With the help of General Jian, son of the Chinese President Wang, they are devastating the world by setting off bombs in major cities of the world killing millions. They have eliminated Indian Prime Minister and all the cabinet members in a similar bomb blast. Their main aim is to get their hands on the 'Scripture of Gods' that are being protected for centuries by a group called "The Rudras",and bring the world down to their slavery.
.
Meanwhile, the man known as Kalki, who is said to be the savior of India and the Head of The Astras Group who supplies futuristic weapons and advanced technologies to Indian Defence Force,is rumored to be kidnapped by the Invisible Hand.Chinese President Wang has sent his biggest asset Nushen, their superhuman spy to meet Kalki and take control of the situation before it went out of hand. But Jian killed his father to take over the throne and ordered to kill Kalki and bring back Nushen to him.
.
Who is Kalki? Is he just a lone vigilante or the prophesied last Avatar of Lord Vishnu? How will they flee? How will Kalki succeed in stoping General Jian and Invisible Hand from creating annihilation?Read this superb book.
📖
My Views - The book start with a mysterious Vanar looking machine(vanaroid) that came out of nowhere to stop the terrorist and was like the God Hanuman himself. From the very start, the book kept its grip firmed till the very end.The Mythological elements merged with science surely gonna keep the readers sitting at the edge of their sits and biting their nails, desperately wanting to know what happens next. The book is full of excitements, adventures. Its like watching a sci-fi movie. The author has beautifully merged the  character's past stories in between to help understand the story better. The characters are very well designed.Every character has a significant role to play.
.
The plot, the narration is superb. The language is simple. The cover is awesome and totally apt for the book..
.
Overall a very well-written book..Excited to read the sequel.
