Content - Karna could never have lost the final battle to Arjuna had he not given away his kavach(armor) and kundal(earrings) that were gifted to him by his father,Surya.

Now we are in 21st century.Vasu,an ex-army officer looks upto Karna as his Mahapurush,his idol.He resolutes to find the kavach,kundal for him.Karna,himself turns up from the past to guide him through the journey as he thinks Vasu is the deserving man to go for this venture.This quest takes Vasu from the Himalayas to Rameshwaram and from Dwarka to Konark.At each point ,Vasu came across some life-threatning hurdles that will test his endurance, strength,will power and characteristics to prove his worthiness.But will he finally be able to find what he is looking for?Read to find.

My Views - 'Kavach of Surya' is the sequel part of the book 'Karna's alter ego'.Though I didn't read the first book,I didn't have any problem understanding this one.This part can totally be read as a stand alone.The narration is smooth and engaging.The treasure hunting part and the action part both are very engaging and you can not keep the book down.The characters are well built.The language is also simple.

However the cover could be a little bit more interesting.It doesn't quite match with the content.

Overall a very good interesting read.Totally recommended..
