Content - This is a diary of a 30-yr old widow Madhubala Ray who lives with her MIL- Lalitaji(She calls her by this name because she forgot her real name) in a rented apartment in chennai.Their major source of income is Madhubala's teaching job but even there she has to deal with  her colleagues,her annoying teenage students,principal.Her life is in a chaos with her boring,underpaying job,a best friend-Pintu,a love life with her colleague Daksh,which has no direction or future,her memories of her late husband,a man named Agasthya whom she had met one day at beach.Among all these things she finds solace in alcohol and lives with hope to find true love again one day.

My Views - The book is written in a diary format which is easy to grasp.There is humor,emotions,reality -  everything bundled in a super simple way.There are bengali essence in the book which you will definitely love if you are  bengali.The narration is powerful.The characters are also super relatable.This book can make you laugh while giving you all the emotional aspects.The ending was superb with modernistic touch.

All in all a grear enjoyable read.
